Request
NEW!  If you are a Title 1 school and want to apply for a Muse for All scholarship to help cover the cost of your program, please fill out the appropriate scheduling request.  You can ask for scholarship funds in your request instead of filling out a separate application.
 Field Trips are typically 9:00 am-12:30 pm, but can start as early as 8:30 am. 
Afternoon trips are also available. Field trips are available Tuesday-Friday.



TIMING OPTIONS

NEW! 3 ½ hour trip: The classroom program is about 45 mins, planetarium shows are between 30-40 mins with a bathroom break, the exhibit time is composed of two 45 min sessions, and around 10:30 there is a 15 min snack break.
Groups of up to 30 students rotate between locations.

2 ½ hour trip: Each rotation (classroom, planetarium, and exhibit gallery) is about 45 mins with 5 minutes to change locations and a bathroom break at the end of the planetarium show.
Groups of up to 30 students rotate between locations.

1 ½ hour trip: This trip includes 45 mins in the exhibit gallery and 20-40 mins planetarium show (shows 20-35 mins allow time for a short activity). There is a 90 student max and it is typically scheduled in the afternoon to help with time constraints.
Groups of up to 45 students rotate between the two.

PRICING

  • Class teachers are admitted FREE for the field trip.
  • Students (and additional adults or siblings) $6.00 each IF fees are paid through the school.*
  • Field trips fees cover scheduled time only.
  • Minimum fee of $90 applies for each field trip booked and a cancellation policy applies (see below).

Things to Know
  • The fee is $10.00* for each field trip guest paying at the door, separately from the school.
  • Muse Memberships do not cover field trip programs.
  • Other discounts and coupons do not apply to field trip programming.
  • Please encourage additional adults to pay through the school.

Field Trip Cancellation Policy
If you must cancel or change your field trip plans, please let us know as soon as possible. Field trips cancelled or postponed with fewer than 14 days' notice will be subject to a $25 administrative fee. "No-show" field trips will be subject to a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations or rescheduled trips due to weather that closes or delays school will not result in a fee. We will make every possible attempt to reschedule trips cancelled because of weather. Late arrivals may result in reduction of field trip programming.


SCHEDULING YOUR TRIP

To request a field trip you must complete a date request form.

You will receive a Muse Confirmation email when your trip is on our calendar.
If you do not receive a Muse Confirmation email, the trip is not scheduled.
